Description of Ease Foot Pain With FootFitter Cast Iron Ball & Ring Shoe Stretcher - Targeted Stretching Device For Bunion, Corn & Hammertoes

cast iron. DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: Created from cast iron, strength and durability is known through its creation process. Our Ball and Ring Shoe Stretcher was built to last. The construction is top notch and through the casting process its strong enough to alter tough materials like thick leather. Quality is what we had in mind with our Ball and Ring Shoe Stretcher. BUNION STRETCHING: Formed through the casting process, our Ball and Ring Shoe Stretcher features targeted spot treatments. The Spot Stretching comes through the Ball and Ring end of the tool. They work in unison; the ring end shows the targeted area, while the ball alters the material. The other end of the tool provides a locking feature to hold the targeted area down for targeted treatments. TARGETED USAGE: The Ball and Ring Shoe Stretcher or we like to call it the Spot Stretching Device was geared towards people who needs targeted relief on their footwear. This is great for altering your current shoes be it new or old. You’re able to ease pain due to bunions, corns and even hammertoes with our tool. Don’t wait on it, be comfortable the next time you put your shoes on. APPLICATIONS: Being created to be both strong and durable, the Ball and Ring Shoe Stretcher was built to last. This spot stretching tool is great for leather type footwear like dress shoes. It can work with certain types of boots (if unlaced), but it was meant for dress shoes. The ball and ring end, which goes into your footwear is short so anything that has more than 4 eyelets will be tougher to get the stretcher into. TIPS: We recommend using our FootFitter Shoe Stretching Spray in unison with our Ball & Ring Shoe Stretcher. The spray softens your leathers and makes the targeted stretching easier while hydrating your shoes. Take your time when using any types of shoes stretching device. Why? All shoes are constructed differently, and you shouldn’t risk breaking stitches or tearing your shoes. Go slow and it will take time to stretch quality leathers.

Easy to use, and it works.

We got this bunion shoe stretcher for my wife's daily-wear leather athletic shoes. As her spousal unit, I got the task of using the stretcher. It was very easy to use, and it stretched the area that was bothering her feet. I think it's important to be careful not to overdo the stretching if you put the ball on a seam in the shoe. It looked like too much and too long might damage a seam.

Pros
  • BUNION STRETCHING: Formed through the casting process, our Ball and Ring Shoe Stretcher features targeted spot treatments. The Spot Stretching comes through the Ball and Ring end of the tool. They work in unison; the ring end shows the targeted area, while the ball alters the material. The other end of the tool provides a locking feature to hold the targeted area down for targeted treatments.
Cons
  • The device can only be used for targeted stretches and cannot help with overall foot pain relief

I am well satisfied with this purchase

I wear a brace on my left foot. Several times I went to the brace company for adjustment, but the technician instead used a device like this to stretch my shoe at certain locations to relieve the pain. At my last visit, he told me the device is available on Revain for about 40 bucks so I decided to order one to eliminate the need to see him to adjust my shoes. This device is exactly the type he used as a professional. It works exactly like he did and I am well satisfied.

Pros
  • The FootFitter Cast Iron Ball & Ring Shoe Stretcher can be used on a variety of shoe styles, including high heels, boots, and sneakers
Cons
  • The FootFitter Cast Iron Ball & Ring Shoe Stretcher may not be suitable for people on a budget

basic is best for my opinion

Since not all feet are created equal and all shoes are not created equal, why would it be a surprise that not all shoes fit all feet even after size and width are taken into consideration? Sometimes a wearing session will rectify an almost fit and sometimes you only wear the problem for a short time from time to time to avoid the waste of money. And then there is the problem that just is too painful. Finally, a solution to all the problems and semi problems. A wee stretch here and a wee stretch

Pros
  • Ideal for people with wide feet, as it helps stretch the shoes to fit comfortably
Cons
  • The product is not environmentally-friendly due to its heavy metal construction

Do Yourself a Favor and Buy This!

When I purchase new shoes I always make sure that the store can stretch the shoes in spots to accommodate my numberous foot and toe quirks. Even when I leave the store feeling confident about the fit, within a few wearings a new place will rub. Now I can adjust the shoes myself! This was a bonanza purchase for me! If a shoe rubs, I stretch the spot and the shoe is ready for the next wear. I hate to think about all the footwear I gave away that I could now make wearable. Also I can now shop…

Pros
  • Easy to use and the results were as they should be.
Cons
  • The Cast Iron Ball & Ring Shoe Stretcher requires significant effort to operate, which can be challenging for some users

Ball a bit small for job but works great.

This works great. The only problem is I wish the ball was bigger and the size of a ping pong ball. It stretches the area over night but you have to redo and move the ball around and around to get the bunion area stretched large enough to take stress off your bunions. It took me a week and a half to stretch the area I needed because the ball is too small to do it at one time. Please let me know when you make one of these bigger in the ball area.

Pros
  • Made of high-quality cast iron, this stretching device is durable and built to last
Cons
  • The product may only provide temporary relief

Good updates, Footfitter

This tool is an update on a tried-and-true cobblers' tool. I borrowed a vintage ball and ring from a friend and used it to adjust several pairs of shoes and boots, so I know some of the difficulties and pitfalls of the vintage models. One updated feature of the new Footfitter ball and ring is that it has a built-in bolt and thumbscrew to hold the ball and ring in position for several hours to ensure a durable stretch. That sure beats tying the ends of the handle into position for the same…

Pros
  • Provides a cost-effective alternative to custom-made shoes
Cons
  • The product may take up too much space in a closet or storage area

As one who is suffering from a bunion on the right foot starting 5 years ago for wearing high heels being a petite woman and having a small foot I even went up a shoe size and got wides if and when I can find them, but they are hard to find, and I can only find them on the web. Shoes that come in wides generally are not too cute either. Also, I got tired of taking my shoes and boots to be stretched and finding it didn't make that much difference; plus all the money spent on stretching. It makes

Pros
  • Provides relief from foot problems caused by high heels and other tight-fitting footwear
Cons
  • The device may be too intense for users with sensitive feet
