Bought a new steam powered washer dryer which came with rubber hoses from the dryer. I don't trust rubber hoses long term so I replaced my dryer rubber steam hose with this kit. I prefer stainless steel washer and dryer hoses to avoid leaks and cracks in the hose. My last set of stainless steel braided hoses lasted 10 years with no problems so expect them to last. I am happy with this purchase.

That worked great. Plugged in immediately and doesn't leak at all. We also replaced the washers on the stock hose at the same time just to be sure. Therefore, customers may wish to order replacement washers for hose couplings. We are happy that these armored hoses exist. The dryer comes with rubber hoses only, which may leak (or even burst) over time. Also cheaper than what they have at Lowes or Home Depot.

The set is of high quality and at an affordable price it gives assurance that we won't be flooding our laundry on the 2nd floor. different from the photo. I bought this set because my washing machine mains were stainless steel and the steam set that came with my dryer was rubber (I find it illogical , stainless steel is more resistant to rubber). Installation was easy, the hose bent exactly the way I wanted and there were no burrs or dents on the threads. The pads also look like decent quality rubber and are thick enough. I have no hesitation in using this hose set in the laundry room above my finished basement.

Highly recommended. Top quality. Very shiny and hard. Don't buy the other one with plastic fittings. It has braided stainless steel lines and the hardware feels solid. We don't have a steam dryer, but we do have a sink next to the washing machine with plumbing pipes, so I use that as a splitter to run new plumbing lines to the sink.
