A Brand New Perspective

We've all heard that knee pads are for wimps. Let me say that I've learned this doesn't happen the hard way. As a coach, I tell my players that a coach should be willing to do whatever he asks of his players. Long story short, if I wasn't using them with shin guards for an hour catching BP, I'd probably need a knee replacement. These things do what they say except for the knees. Keep your players healthy and play longer.

Small enough for 9 year old girls

I thought the hinges were copper but they are plastic. It's difficult to get the shin pads through the loops of the knee pads, but I think that's a good thing because when the shin pads are removed from the catcher's legs, the pads don't fall out as easily. The pads themselves feel durable and I hope they will last until my daughter outgrows them. Bought her a small size and she is 9 years old. Other catchers on their team use it and all find it more comfortable.

They fit Louisville Series 5 gear - here's how to attach them.

They're great, and despite another person's comment that they don't fit in the Louisville Series 5, they do. You can't thread the clasp through the D-ring on the knee pads, as the reviewer points out in their review photo, but all you have to do is remove the strap from the sling mechanism, thread it through the knee pads, and reattach. gear belt. Easy. My son is 10 and we bought small earbuds and they fit true to size.

They really save their knees!

My 11 year old daughter wears them when she catches the ball for her softball team. She uses them with the Louisville Slugger Series 5 Intermediate Fishing Gear which we also bought from Amazon and it works great. She has more support behind her knees when she squats. I was concerned about the wear and tear on her knees playing catch, I think it helps a lot. She can surface quicker and play a lot more innings than catcher without feeling tired. I can recommend these knee pads and would…

Easton Buckles Won't Go Through

This item was purchased with our Easton youth gear. As a youth product from Easton, they should be compatible. It should be wrong. The buckles on the shin guards and leg guards do not go through the rigid nylon rings because the buckles are too big. It is impossible to remove the buckles without undoing the straps. We'll likely either get them back or undo the stitching, skip the straps, reattach the buckles, and then sew the straps back together. I just want others to know that it doesn't…
