I bought 4 packs of these fans and found them very good. They are very quiet even at 5 volts and keep my Raspberry Pi 10-15 degrees cooler. I liked them so much that I bought 4 more packs within a week. Why only 3 stars? Now one of the fans from the second 4-pack has died. Both sets are still within the return window but unless I have more breakdowns I leave them as they do what they are supposed to do. considering they don't die. Their size is hard to tell on stock photos, so I scaled them up a bit - they're pretty small. Others have complained that the screws were loose, but mine was in a separate bag. The noise level is very low, but there is a slightly audible hum. So far the two I've installed are working fine - I can feel a slight breeze coming from the case. I will update if they die too fast.

I have a Raspberry Pi B+ that keeps overheating. It was running at 70 degrees Celsius while logging serial port data from an Arduino Mega in the heat (in a waterproof case), made a few modifications to my board, ran this thing in my heatsink and brought the temp down to 60 Centigrade.

Ok I just received it, the packaging obviously needs a lot of improvement. All fans were present and I checked them and they all worked fine. But the hardware for all 4 fans was dangling all over the bag which became a mess when removing the fans. Also, some of the devices got stuck in the fans, which could cause some issues. These are pretty decent quiet fans with acceptable airflow to keep the Raspberry Pi cool. everything so I returned them and bought these instead. Tip 1: These fans are not designed to run 24/7 and the more you use them the quicker they die. Get dual ball bearing fans if you need 24/7 airflow. Tip 2: If you're using on a Raspberry Pi, consider controlling the fan via software/script as you don't technically need to run the fan 24/7.
