Good but do not use for competitive fighting

Good! This product does the job if you only play retro games, emulators, etc., but DO NOT use it if you are a professional fighting game player. These are not suitable for this. Don't use it with joysticks to play Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter or other fighting games. There seems to be one odd thing where it doesn't take quick double-entry well. For example, inputs like fast forward, forward or rewind, rewind. I'm playing Julia in Tekken 7 so I have to do a lot of f, f+1 to crash theโ€ฆ

Great update for my 20 year old Hagstrom KE72

20 years ago I used an IDE cable, RJ45 jacks and some network cables to connect my old HAPP Controls 4 player home cabinet. I remember working for hours in my basement with a soldering iron and a serial cable displaying keyboard controls. I bought two of these sets a few weeks ago. It took me less than 2 hours to completely replace the hardware with this kit and it's a HUGE upgrade. The KE72 was great for its time but had a few glitches (doing a dalsim teleport in SF2 HF never worked) but Easyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors arrived

I modified Arcade1up cocktail table with Windows 10 Big Box setup. I thought K1-K10 could be in any order but I was definitely wrong. When using Retroarch with a Mame (2016) core as an emulator, Midway games such as NFL Blitz and NBA Hangtime showed in the key diagnostics that several key combinations were not registered. For example, I couldn't do turbo hotkeys in those games, which meant I couldn't push in NBA Jam or stiff arm in NFL Blitz. It turns out that this board shows K1 as RY- and K3โ€ฆ

  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
