Eliminates need for bonding jumper in grounded metal enclosure. Side in terminals accept up to number 10-solid wire or stranded wire and push in terminals accept number 14-solid wire. Black and Brass finish is impact-resistant thermoplastic face and back body is virtually unbreakable. Compliant with 2011 NEC Articles 406.12 – 406.14 for Tamper Resistant Receptacles. Comes with a limited warranty.

Looks good but doesn't match the existing boxes I had.

Looks good but doesn't match the existing boxes I was looking to replace. The appearance was almost identical, but the holes were offset by fractions of an inch. This was enough to render the existing boxes almost unusable. If you install new full packages, please rate them with a star.

We feel awful every time we throw the assembly away, but .

For many years we have been trying to find ONLY the plate cover and/or matching connectors. (We don't need the whole assembly!) This is a standard property inspection. The manufacturer offers not only a cover with plugs. We always have a terrible feeling about throwing the assembly away, but the manufacturer doesn't give us a choice. ;-(

Inexpensive fastening screws.

In general the product is acceptable except for one serious fault. The screws that screw the outlet bracket into the outlet box were stripped when I used them. I should have gotten a replacement, that's time I shouldn't have wasted. I believe this issue has been mentioned in previous reviews. In my opinion there is no reason for the manufacturer to save a few tenths of a cent on screws.
