EBC Brakes DP41749R Yellowstuff Street Review

EBC claims the squeak goes away after 300-500 miles after grinding in. Nothing is further from the truth. 700 miles later and they're still squeaking!

Otherwise a good product although it has a rather short lifespan (compared to the standard) and yellow rims. Expensive

I have used EBC before although it was my first time with my Focus RS. They are good both on the road and on the track [HPDE]. They have cooled down a bit and do not tarnish when warm/hot.

I'm not sure how it's going to turn out. The EBC factory seal is broken, the box is clearly open. I paid for a new, sealed item. Not someone coming back. The front pads I received were also open. Hatch Quality Control Revain. I'll edit the stars depending on what else I find.

If you are happy with your car and its braking performance and are more than a beginner, I do not recommend these for track use. braking conditions. For outdoor use, this is definitely a good upgrade. Dual purpose brake pads are a pure compromise and this is no exception. If you're not very slow on the track or don't use the brakes very much, these are the Street pads.

Be careful. I was given what appeared to be real brakes, but on closer inspection I found that 2 pads were labeled "EBC Green Stuff" and 2 pads were labeled "EBC Yellow Stuff" even though they were all painted yellow. When I received the replacement (great customer service from Revain) the new box had a seal which the original box did not have. So, are counterfeit brake pads possible?
