On my second sentence! for spares

These pads are great if you are trying to use them on the track and on the street. I know this leads to suboptimal track performance, but I don't have time to change pads before every track day. No noise / squeaks on the road and the same braking power and dust in daily driving as the stock pads.

Pros
  • Compound for racing without fading
Cons
  • I will add later

Reliable pads for your money.

Very good pads. Used them on a 2012 Audi S4 (3700 pounds), stock braking system. Despite the incredible heat (the tire valve caps were melting), there was virtually no fading. Bite was good and progressive although I personally prefer more aggressive rubbers. Pedal feel is too soft for me and they squeak a bit (not uncommon for autocross/trackpads) so I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise these are very good pads. I am impressed. In any case, I'm a club driver and have been driving on the…

Pros
  • Brakes effective immediately after frost
Cons
  • unreliable

Will hold up on the track

Very happy so far. You don't need to sand the rotor as these pads come with a "sanding pad". It's as rough as sandpaper and cleans the rotor for you. Just put it on. Handled a full day of track bullying very well and also in a 3600lb machine. Minimal brake dust (except when you first put them on and grind them, then tons of dust). No noise! Only negative so far, it was a bit difficult to put it back in the caliper. I'm used to the pads simply being inserted. I ended up using my C-Clip to put…

Pros
  • Can be used on the street or track
Cons
  • Good but not great

2 days at the track made them crumble

Installed them on my 2013 B8.5 A4 before a track day. Before installing these pads, the A4 was bone stock. They held up well, but when they were removed the lining began to crumble. There should be a flat surface between the pad and the rotor as you can see in the photo, there isn't. My ABS started reacting randomly after a day on the track because there wasn't enough contact between the rotor and the pad. For a lighter car that's probably great, but for a two-day trip on an A4 they just don't…

Pros
  • High friction pad for better braking at high speeds
