🚚 EBC Brakes DP61777 6000 Series Greenstuff Truck and SUV Brake Pad for Superior Stopping Power Review

I had high hopes for them as they are actively advertised. They squeak horribly so I ordered another brand less than 5000 miles away. Big disappointment.

They do what they have to. Stop. Just moved a 3 ton load with no trailer brakes and they definitely did their job. I am only taking off one star because they are very noisy and also produce a TON of brake dust.

Great pads, but I'm not satisfied with the lack of dust. However, the resulting dust is much easier to remove and does not stick as strongly. I drive an f350 with a gross weight of 11,400 so I wasn't expecting very little dust. Braking performance is definitely noticeable compared to other pads I've had in the past, which is obviously more important than dirty discs.

A soft feel that worsens when soaked in heat is not normal for a superduty diesel. They squeak, which really confuses me. After 6000 miles on the pads the middle layer is almost completely intact but unfortunately all 4 rotors need to be replaced due to uneven wear. Despite all that, this isn't the worst sign of pads.
