Works well. Wish batteries lasted longer.

My first rechargeable battery purchase, so I can’t compare to other rechargeable battery brands. While it works well, and I like how it is more environmentally friendly, these batteries do not last as long as their disposable counterparts (Duracell, energizer, or Kirkland brands). Not the end of the world as you can simply recharge them, but it would be nice if you didn’t have to do so as often.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • May not be suitable for heavy use or frequent charging

bought two unit, neither one of them would charge 8 batteries at the same time, most they would take is 5 at one time, when I put the sixth one in, it would start flashing on and off.revision, EBL sent me a USB wall charger that made the chargers work with all 8 batteries at one time, it takes a 5v 2.1 amp charger, which in my opinion should be come with charger or at least be noted in description

Pros
  • The EBL battery charger is a great way to keep your electronics organized.
Cons
  • May not be able to charge batteries in parallel or series

seems good, but a couple things to note:

alright, so i have a Panasonic brand charger, and mostly nice eneloop and eneloop pro batteries. got this in a kit that came with some EBL brand ones. i am an electronics nerd, i have a degree in avionics, and i geek out on these sorts of things. k, here we go:-when i took batteries DIRECTLY off of my panasonic charger, and put them in here, they continued to "charge" for a while. however, when i checked voltages before and after, there was no change. this indicates to me that not much was…

Pros
  • The EBL battery charger is incredibly versatile.
Cons
  • May cause interference or damage to other electronic devices

Works well best in my review

Works well. There is a slight clicking coming from it, but it's pretty quiet. The AAA batteries can be hard to get to stay in place and not roll around, but that comes with the territory of it being able to handle so many different battery types

Pros
  • The charger is perfect for parents who need to power their children’s toys.
Cons
  • May not be able to drain or discharge batteries for proper storage

Great so far good for me

They arrived, packaged good charged fast. The charger worked. I have not really used them yet. I have them in one of my son's paw patrol cars. So far so good. Will update if anything major changes

Pros
  • The included 2800mAh and 1100mAh batteries are high capacity and long-lasting.
Cons
  • May not have a long lifespan or durability

Very Versatile in my review

I like that this can charge via USB micro or USB C. This allows me to charge batteries virtually anywhere a port is available. Provided the source puts out decent amps.

Pros
  • You can use it for a wide range of electronics, including toys, cameras, and flashlights.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with medical devices or life support systems

Good charger with one quirk.

The fact you can use two different types of cables to power the charger is very convenient. The only problem I have is trying to charge seven or eight batteries at the same time. Once you add the seventh one, the unit's screen blanks and blinks and you can hear the charger click as though it's trying to initiate charging. Once you only have six in the charger works as it should. It's almost as though it's trying to pull too many amps or it's overloading something. The batteries I am charging…

Pros
  • It’s perfect for people who use a lot of batteries in their daily life.
Cons
  • May not have a detailed user manual or instructional video

I purchased this unit in Feb of 2021. Today I just checked on it to add more batteries and saw the above, one of the batteries had melted. I have a number of these and will no longer buy them. I wish I could return it, but it is past the return date. I may just return all the others I bought. I am concerned the others will do the same thing.I am adding to my last review as the company has sent me a replacement. Which is very kind as they did not have to do so, it was beyond the return time. I…

Pros
  • Safety Guarantee: Advanced MCU control and -∆V function, over-heat and over-current protection, short-circuit protection, non-rechargeable and defective battery detection.
Cons
  • May not work well with older batteries

Good but no wall block for charger

Just got this product and the initial charge was a while but batteries work great. Only disappointment is there is no wall block to plug in charger. Just USB and USB c connect. Had to find a wall block from my phone to use. That fact wasn't clear in description.

Pros
  • The charger is very user-friendly and perfect for beginners.
Cons
  • May not work well with devices that require a continuous power source

Feels like a sturdy product, comes with a micro usb instead of a type c but minor annoyance. My only concern is the lopsided charging. Each battery in the picture was right out of the box and unused. As you can see in the photo, 1 aaa finished charging while the rest are still going. Not sure of it's just a weird quirk or the way they are set up. Guess I'll see how they work and update

Pros
  • The charger is very affordable and won’t break the bank.
Cons
  • May not be able to handle frequent or heavy use

Love it. Great Deal.

I jumped onto rechargeable batteries 15 years ago, but have never upgraded since. I have supplemented the batteries here n there but was always hard to tell what was going on inside the batteries. Super frustrating. This is so awesome. I went through all my old rechargeable, found a few duds that just won't take a charge anymore. Feels way less wasteful knowing which 1 is good or bad. I also bought some brand new EBL AA. Thing charger charges everything super fast. Got all the kids toys back up

Pros
  • It’s a great investment for people who love to go camping or hiking.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with devices that require specific power levels or voltages

Very Versatile - my new review

I like that this can charge via USB micro or USB C. This allows me to charge batteries virtually anywhere a port is available. Provided the source puts out decent amps.

Pros
  • Super Fast Charging Technology - 1Pcs AA/AAA/C/D Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Charging Time Cable: AAA 800-1100mAh 0.8-1.2hours; AA 2300-2800mAh 2.5-3hours; C 5000mAh 2.7hours; D 10000mAh 5.5hours. Charging faster than other name-brand LCD Charger. (NOTE: Fit for 2.0A adapter only, DO NOT use 1.0A adapter)
Cons
  • May not be cost-effective for long term use

Updated: Charger is fine

Edit: Charger seems to work fine and quickly now. Batteries are re-read as being "empty" but quickly filling up, unlike before where they seemed to had an excessively low charge even throughout being charged the whole day. 1 star off for lower QC than I like, but otherwise seems to work fine. Customer service team is quick and proficient, after posting my review they reached out quite quickly.Original Title: Charger behaves extremely inconsistently.Original This charger does not seem to…

Pros
  • The EBL charger is versatile enough to handle all of your battery needs.
Cons
  • May not include an indicator or alarm for faulty batteries

Great charger but spring loading can be tough

Love the look and function of this charger. LED lights are bright and clear. Batteries and charger combined price is fantastic. I love knowing it can charge any size battery too!Only Cons: It takes a little bit of work to get the battery in due to the spring loaded bottoms. (Thise "seems" more cumbersome because I already have EBL's other charger that requires 2 batteries (long white block) and only does AA/AAA, so they just snap into their slots--but this requires a bit more skill and both…

Pros
  • The charger is very durable and built to withstand daily use
Cons
  • May not have a reliable or consistent charging speed or rate

Fiddly, quirky charger but still works so far

I like the fact that they have two power ports (USB C and USB micro) just in case one becomes. unavailable.Getting cells actually seated in the charger is way more fiddly than necessary because the plastic landings for the batteries are actually flat. Seeing as batteries are round, they will slide around as you try to get them lined up. They should have molded a shallow round groove in the plastic to help with alignment. Just a light shallow one would do it.My unit makes an awkward clicking…

Pros
  • The dual charging slots allow you to charge two batteries at once.
Cons
  • May not have a universal plug or adapter for international use

This was a long time coming purchase but I’m pretty happy with it. I was getting so sick of Wii controllers, guitar controllers, or whatever needed batteries having dead batteries!I’m not 100% on how long the batteries hold charge, because I charge them after every use to keep them topped up.The batteries themselves do have a slightly thin coating or whatever that I’ve felt kinda flecking from my finagling fingernails (say that 10x fast) but there doesn’t appear to be any issues there.

Pros
  • The charger is made of high-quality materials and is built to last.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use or travel

I already have AA and AAA batteries from EBL, and a 4 port wall charger. Thought this larger and faster charger would be a nice addition. But the 'fit' of adding batteries into position is quite variable and not secure, and even using a higher power wall outlet adapter the charge times are rather slow. Returned, but will continue to use our current EBL charger and batteries.

Pros
  • The EBL battery charger is a great way to reduce waste and save the planet.
Cons
  • May not include a power supply or adapter for home use

Unsafe, will smoke if 14500 battery inserted

Out of curiosity, I plugged in an EBL 14500 battery in the device to check how it would handle it.The answer is simple, it doesn't. The charger started to immediately smoke. The LCD went blank but the smoke continued. Looks like it locked up, this could easily start a fire.Did nobody think to add some protection.?

Pros
  • Works great!
Cons
  • Not suitable for non-rechargeable batteries

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent charger, design could have been better

Seems to work well, only complaint is how closely the batteries are placed. I find it a little bit of a pain to get my fingers in when loading it up. I end up having to pull the spring loaded tab back with one hand and dropping the batteries into the slots.

Pros
  • Household Batteries, Chargers & Accessories
Cons
  • Batteries may not hold charge well in colder temperatures
