Disappears after 2 months.

2 month review: After wearing these on my car for 2 months they turned pink (faded red). Soon they will have no color. I haven't done anything crazy with my car except driving to and from work.

Terrible: Corroded immediately

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. The mixture of aluminum in the valve stem and this product will cause immediate corrosion. I could not remove the caps after 2 weeks of use. Forced to pay $125 for four new TPS valves.

Won't come off! for accessories and parts

Looks great! Put her on my new truck. A week later I bled the tires and everything was fine. I left them for the next month as there were no tire pressure issues. Came back when the temp changed to adjust the tire pressure and they corroded the valve stem and now won't come off! Clearly removes galvanic corrosion from aluminum.

I loved it. I put 4 on my Ford and .

Well, first I liked it. I put 4 on my Ford and 4 on our old Honda CRV. When I wanted to "hollow out" the air after 2 weeks, they stuck to the valve stems of my Ford. Some corrosion/electrolysis but it happened almost immediately. I was very angry and disappointed, but my daughter's car valves didn't have this problem.

Cheapest Product Best Accessories & Parts

If you're in Michigan, you've got winter salt corrosion. This led to corrosion of the caps on the bars. It only took 3 months. The tires were flat and took pliers to remove three caps and on the fourth tire I had to replace the stem which cost me more than the caps. I had a set of aluminum Harley-Davidson caps that I lost which prompted me to buy them. I've never had a problem with them!

$1200 Stem Cap Error

Don't use these and I mean don't use these if you ever want to fill all your tires. I installed them on my F250 in May 2019. My tires hold air pretty well and the low 3psi doesn't bother me. I decided to fill today as I had a low pressure of 5psi on a normal 60psi fill. I can't take these things off. They are different in metal from the brass valve stems and now I bet on cheap valve covers that cost me over $150 a tire to get new sensors to take them off. My TPMS is built into my valve stems…

They look great but make sure you take them off often so they don't get stuck!

*** Rating and review updated - after a few months I can't remove 2 of these from the valve stems. I've seen others complain about this in their reviews and I can say I agree now. I'm pretty sure I'll need to replace those valve stems and I'm trying to balance this with the need for new tires for the vehicle in question. ALUMINUM. Serious. It looks but feels like plastic

Remember how light aluminum is as a material. Judging by other reviews, these caps are made of aluminum. I was sure they were plastic. I checked to see if it was my oversight that I might not have verified what material they are made of before buying, but of course the description says they are 'aluminium'.
