*** Rating and review updated - after a few months I can't remove 2 of these from the valve stems. I've seen others complain about this in their reviews and I can say I agree now. I'm pretty sure I'll need to replace those valve stems and I'm trying to balance this with the need for new tires for the vehicle in question. On my other computer I don't have the same problem removing them, but I try to remove them often just to make sure they don't get stuck. I have them on my bike too, but I need to regularly inflate/deflate my bike tires when conditions call for it, so I often remove these caps to keep them from getting stuck. These caps do exactly what you expect them to do. Metal is better than the plastics you usually find and the choice of color allows you to either add style to your wheels or match the hubcaps to your wheels. I'm not sure I would go out and buy these to replace the valve caps I already have, but I still needed the kit because some idiot stole mine from my truck one day while I was parked at the train station. I have black alloy wheels and I think these hubcaps go a little better with the wheels. I'm not sure if they're going to do anything to stop the next idiot from stealing them, but they screw on a little deeper than regular caps and take a little longer to put on and take off, so maybe the fact that there's a bit takes more time, the next thief will wait and move to the car next to me.
