Remember how light aluminum is as a material. Judging by other reviews, these caps are made of aluminum. I was sure they were plastic. I checked to see if it was my oversight that I might not have verified what material they are made of before buying, but of course the description says they are 'aluminium'. Aluminum Good. what i was thinking. Maybe a stronger aluminum sensor? They looked good in the picture. Like the ones I wanted to replace. I really only needed one. I only use one, period. It is in order. But I was expecting thicker aluminum. If you're looking to improve the look of your wheels, this is an economical alternative to the standard plastic caps that come with tires and valve stems. I don't remember paying much for the ones they were supposed to replace and they looked fine in the picture; almost identical game as such. If these are the same ones I bought more than seven years ago they will last a long time if you or a gas station doesn't lose one, two or one of them, say, spinning or changing a wheel. It's a bit deceptive and looks different to me than the item you get when it's delivered to your door, but they're not too bad. They're very light, and now that I think about it, the one I had bolted onto the valve stem felt like it might not have been machined well. Therefore, there may be a small manufacturing defect. But at this price it "should" be ok. Just make sure they are screwed tight by hand. Keep in mind that in my experience you cannot be sent back if you are unhappy with them. You must return them to the store or issuing office. To me?
