This is a beautiful theme with very fast and easy use, no setup required. It's just pure PNP. Two small problems: The cable is VERY, VERY short. They really skimped on that part. The second issue for me due to my disability is that the top of the device is front lit and protrudes from the top so the little open button is under that lip which is hard for me to access so I put the whole thing on a few Plastic covers to get up from the table. Great product at a great price! twenty dollars? Wow! Unpacked, plugged in and BAM is ready to go! I look forward to using it more. I have an expensive, powerful gaming laptop that I recently bought and I just assumed it had a built-in CD/DVD burner. nope! Am I serious? My fault, so I got it. My computer doesn't have a DVD player so this is a good replacement. Many people say they can't get it to work, we will only use it for watching, but we just searched for a free DVD player app and downloaded it, and after a little tweaking we got it working. When you hit the play button on the show, it's quiet for a while and takes a few seconds to catch up, and it's also a little blurry, but I don't know whose fault it is. But of course when I requested some information from the government via an FOI request I got a CD. This reader was good quality and hassle free. I plugged it in and it worked straight away with no issues. I checked the information, now I don't need it anymore. Maybe I can search the box and find some old Def Leppard CDs and get more out of this thing. I highly recommend it if you have more than 1 CD and don't have a CD player.

Nice external DVD-RW/CDRW drive. Works very well with macOS. Minor complaints that the attached USB-C connection type doesn't work directly with the MacBook port. I've tried all ports and even from a USB hub with an extra USB-C port; That does not work. I have a USB hub and it works great with it. So the USB-C port isn't a big deal. I have attached some photos of the DVD drive. It is slim, light and easy to carry. A must if you have new laptops that don't come with DVD/RW drives.

I bought it on May 8th and received it on May 10th. I now regularly use an external ROOFULL USB 3.0 CD-DVD drive to copy my old CDs and DVDs to the cloud. I plug it in and ROOLFULL is recognized immediately. The 9.5 inch cable is neatly tucked away at the bottom of the device. I have both a Windows 10 laptop and desktop purchased in 2018.
