🎀 Burlap Wired Ribbon: Natural Weave with Wired Edge for Christmas Crafts Decoration (Red, 2.4 Inches by 315 Inches) Review

I loved the idea of wrapping burlap with wire ribbon, but when wrapping my first gift I found that some of the ribbon wasn't just worn, it had but also a large tear where the wire is not attached to the tape, which is very difficult to hide. It also smells very strongly of chemicals.

Bought 2 packs. All 4 wheels were somehow damaged. Two rolls were missing 6 to 8 inches of tape. He just held it on the reel by the wire while the other two reels had the tape ripped off the wire. Unfortunately I have to keep it to myself because I have to decorate the church by next Sunday and I have to make 12 loops. (I don't know how to make bows so I need time to make them). You have to cut the tape to make it work.

this ribbon is really nice and i liked this ribbon so i'm sorry i can't give a better review but. I bought it to wrap my Christmas presents. The colors were exactly what I wanted - bright red and spruce, cooler darker green (it's NOT blue - it's cool green). They appeared exactly as they did on my monitor. The ribbon was sewn and well packaged. But as with some "natural" materials like burlap/jute, the ribbon had an oily, oily, combustible smell. It wasn't very strong because I couldn't smell…
