I was looking for a trunk mat for my 2021 Tesla Model Y. I chose this carpet for a number of reasons. I liked that the rug has velcro on the bottom which allows the rug to stick to the carpeted interior. I also liked the rubber coating on the mat - it keeps things from slipping and helps secure items (like groceries) and keep them from flying around. I don't particularly like the industrial look of many weatherproof mats, so I chose this mat for my Model Y. It is stylish yet functional. It fits right on top of a rug so I don't have to tuck the rug away to collect dust. It fits right into the back seat but leaves some room for the seats to fold down.
