Don't skip a single step.

So far so good. I cleaned the hubs, used Loctite and reinstalled the wheels after 20 miles to tighten them. They were all still tense.

Perfect fit for 2009 Ford Mustang.

They fit my 2009 Ford Mustang perfectly. They felt very heavy and of good quality. Only time will tell if they hold up. I will check and update again in 3 months.

Nothing for heavy terrain.

Broken three bolts from a rear spacer - almost lost the wheel. Another bolt on another spacer broke when torqued to 85 lb-ft. The spacers themselves are good - the lugs are not suitable for off-road use. I've used these spacers on other vehicles that have been primarily road driven and they have been fine. This particular vehicle is in central Mexico and the roads are very bad. I had to purchase Spidertrax spacers for this application.

Don't hurt yourself

100 ft lbs done. It's cheap, brittle aluminum and it's a crash waiting in the wings. I don't recommend wheel spacers unless absolutely necessary, but if absolutely necessary get a g2 or spider trax or known brand for the extra money. Your life depends on a piece of aluminum between your ferris wheel and your tire and wheel hub. While doing this job, I've never seen anyone spit like that in the middle of it. No signs of stretching or thread twisting so I know my torque wrench is fine. It's just…

Hubs are too big for 2004 Mustang Factory wheels, studs are very easy to remove and I had to use a Dremel tool to do this Use Remove material for the wheel to install flush with the spacer. Stripped 2 lug bolts on a spacer when the wheel is mounted (I start by hand before using a tool), 1 stripped when the lug nut is removed.
