DO NOT USE! This product has shocked me twice since I bought it. Every time I try to plug something into it I get electrocuted. For this reason I no longer use it in the dorm, but it's too late to return it now. :/ Not recommended!

It made a rattling noise. Something in him was weakened. When it was plugged in, it sparked and shorted out. I wasn't there when it was hooked up, my spouse did it. But it wasn't worth trying again. Pretty good product, judging by the pictures I thought the plugs could be placed at any angle but in fact they need to be pointing straight forward or straight to the side or you won't be in able to plug your item into the outlet. in. This works great when you have a lot of bulky outlets and things you need in a common area. I have a smart end cap that I was able to install here by placing it on the front and aligning the other two end caps to the side profile.

No over-voltage reset. It's like having a car without a spare tire, a parachute without a spare tire, or a hospital without a spare surgeon. Although I appreciate the fact that it protects my devices... Like every other surge protector on the market... it should be resettable. Nothing says "burn my house down" like a surge protector that doesn't have a reset button. Because most people just remove the surge protector when it blows and plug their device into the same outlet they need to protect.
