This kit makes installing the Thinkware f800 pro that much easier as there is no need to run a power line to the trunk where the battery is located.

Many new GM vehicles manufactured after 2010 do not have auxiliary switches (ACC). Some level of power is always on, so the fuse tap doesn't work. Not only is this product a solution to this problem, I would say it is just as easy to install as a safety faucet.

Bought to be installed in a 2020 Explorer as the mirror tap I used previously didn't seem to work when connected to the lights on the overhead console . Installation was very easy - I unplugged the current OBD connector, plugged it into this cable, then plugged the 'new' OBD connector into a mount in the car to make it look like it came from the factory. Lots of cables running up the A-pillar and across the headliner. No need to remove panels - easy, clean installation. It works great too!

This plug and play adapter is much better than a hardwired DVR. I recently bought a new car and didn't want to void my warranty by fiddling with the electronics. It would be nice if instructions were included, but it's relatively easy to find out.
