This product really is the best. Reliable in use. I had a client who wanted to use 80 year old T&G cedar siding for the interior wall paneling. After washing and grinding the shards, it turned bright red again, and they wanted it to go gray. Two light coats of this product and customers loved it. I've used it several times at my home. We are using Eco Wood treatment to protect the wood in a new greenhouse we are building. The product mixed easily and fell onto the wooden rafters. no smell It's good to know that it's non-toxic when dropped on the ground. The wood was immediately covered with a silvery patina. Over time we will see how well it protects the wood from greenhouse moisture and the scorching New Mexico sun. I will update the report in a few months.

Upon closer inspection it appears to be just ferrous sulphate available in 50 lb bags for around $30. Smaller bags cost around $6. They don't have that brand name but at a fraction of the cost. Save your money and don't pay them to put a few tablespoons in the bag. Yes, obviously the national parks use it. We all know how governments don't waste our money lol. Do your research before you buy and don't waste your money like I did.

This product was purchased to finish 2 x 8 boards for raised garden beds. We still have unfinished pine boards. This product was recommended to me by a colleague, so I decided to give it a try. This woodwork is amazing. I used it to endure the look of a mahogany square that I used to trim a custom barn door. I had to darken the wood to match some of the pre-made recycled fence boards. I sanded the mahogany with a wire wheel and then drybrushed it with sage green satin paint. I then used a spray bottle to apply the product.
