🚐 ECOGARD XC11577 Premium Cabin Air Filter for Ford Transit 2015-2019 Series Review

At the dealer I was told that the Transporter Transit 150 does not have a cabin filter. I looked behind the glove box and saw that there is a slot for the cabin air filter. So I bought this filter and will be buying more as it's great it reduced the amount of dust appearing on the dash and inside the van.

Fits my 2018 Ford Transit 350 Base with 3.7L V6 engine. I'm really angry that cars don't have a cabin filter and the few places I've found that cabin filter have claimed their system said there is no such thing. I wonder what else engineers do with cars that manufacturers don't tell consumers about.

If it takes more than 5 minutes give your buddy the keys because you are drunk driving. If you are not drunk and it still takes more than 5 minutes then you are not smart enough to drive a vehicle. I installed it from the driver's seat in less than 2 minutes, no tools required. Just lower the glove box and open the small door where the filter is located. The arrows point down to the notch filter on the driver's side. Stupid easy.

There is a cabin air filter box but the 2018 Transit (US stock model) does not come with a real filter. You open the door and it's empty. Dealers say it shouldn't be there (only European versions of the same car have it). So if you dig, you will find this at Revain and you can also filter and clean the air in your cabin. The only improvement would be the addition of carbon to the filter material.

A FORD dealer informed me that there is no part number in the parts catalog for my Transit. Just a dash. This means that the cabin filter is not designed for Ford Transit 250. But you know, on the Ford Transit forum I found that this is a cabin filter housing but there is no filter inside. I stretch out my hand and air blows through my fingers. But this product filter fits my Transit 250, but it also fits the 150 and 350 models. On the go Ecogard.

I have had a truck for 3 years and have never had any in my car because the dealer said they were out of stock. I just installed it in my truck and it was really easy to install and what a difference. The very next day I was driving over a torn road, the vent was open, the fan was running at full blast, and no dirt or dust from the road got into the truck. I wish I always had one of these, I don't know the last time my dashboard was clean and I didn't have to inhale it all.
