bought for my mum as a gift. She regularly uses it to make bracelets. It's strong, durable and we haven't been able to tag it yet. it is distinctly oval.

So far I have used this mandrel on dozens of bracelets and a few other items that require rounded edges. It feels solid and gets the job done. I warn you it's fairly easy to dent, my face is already pitted from misplaced hammer blows. This hasn't been a problem for me, but might be a problem for some.

This mandrel is perfect for making bangles and the quality is first class. Never expected such a solid tool for this price. It's heavy, so I need to find a way to install it on my desktop.
