ECP Cotton Correction Dressage Pad Review

My shark fin is dry old horse and this food has answered all my questions. This helped his saddle pass the test and made it exponentially more comfortable to ride.

I wasn't sure but this saddle pad really solved my problem with my new horse. It was difficult for me to properly and comfortably fit the dressage saddle. NOW it fits and drives like it should. The saddle pad also seems to be very well made.

This pad is perfect for horses that are still on the move. Seals offer many adjustment options. My horse has high withers and is also slightly sunken at the withers. The padding on the front is perfect for her. It's a bit expensive because I don't think the materials themselves are that expensive. However, it is worth it. I have 5 of these. :-)

One of four memory foam pads was missing when shipped. The company referred me back to Revain. Couldn't return as I had already tried it on my horse when I noticed it was gone. You must be able to find memory foam pads somewhere, but I'm sorry I didn't waste my money. The pad fit is odd but would probably work for a very large withered horse. The pillow feels good and the soft blue color is pretty.

I needed a correction pad that didn't cost a foot or hoof while my horse's saddle was being fitted. This was very helpful as I didn't need multiple pads and volume and it stays in place well. The pads are foam and compress too much so I added some thicker memory foam. Otherwise, this is an excellent replacement for expensive corrective half-pads.

The construction of the mat is good but I bought it for the memory foam pads which are NOT. They're packed in foam, similar to the stuff you find in the box when you buy tall boots. In fact, just trying to pull one out broke it! They cut them to fit the padded pockets on the groin and tuck in three to make them look thicker than they actually are. If you're buying this for the quality of the seals, look elsewhere.

First of all this is a beautifully made item that comes in a gorgeous range of colours. Its shortcomings can be corrected almost free of charge. First, as other reviewers have said, you need to replace the "pads". I just cut out pieces of old pillows. Get some real memory foam if you want. Secondly, and I think this is important, just when you lift the gimp you can cut out the front pockets because they are made of quilted material and serve as padding themselves.
