Eddie Bauer Edgewood Plaid Duvet Review

I was hoping for a fluffy soft blanket for my son. It's soft but very thin. There is almost no batting or fluffiness in it. In most cases it looks like the top and bottom fabrics are rubbing against each other with nothing in between. This isn't a blanket. That's a thin blanket. Not at all what I expected.

Very high quality set. I washed the comforters before putting the pads in. They were still a little scratchy but I think a second wash should take care of that. I had no problem washing them and letting them dry by hanging them over my laundry room door. They dried almost wrinkle-free, so they didn't need to be ironed. I am very happy with them as they are in one of our guest rooms and look amazing!

Well made heavyweight blanket as I would expect from Eddie Bauer. This is not flannel in case anyone gets confused in the material. It's 100% cotton but I would compare it to a heavy cotton weft. It's a heavy, dense cotton with a smooth, slippery surface. The colors are actually darker than in the photo. There is definitely red, dark orange, brown and the squares are white. LOVE this cover! The duvet cover is the same as the photo and very cute, no surprises. The pillowcases open in the middle, which I like better. The hole in the lid doesn't extend the full width of the lid (about 5-6 inches on each side), I would prefer the hole to run the full width of the lid.
