🔧 Optimized Edelbrock PCV Hose Connection Kit (1205) for PN[1207/1221/4207/4221] Models Review

I've been thinking about saving a few bucks and getting a plastic water bottle, and I'm glad I didn't. The thing is solid! As most people have mentioned, the inside diameter is slightly larger than what you might need. I inserted a tight fitting tube and used silicone to hold it in place. No problem.

The opening on this thing is MUCH larger than the crankcase vents. What were they thinking? To make matters worse, you have to dig to find the size, and it's an odd .785 bullet. What problem is this thing trying to solve? Compare this to crankcase ventilation for heaven's sake. This is a headache.

Dimensions are correct so I could use that for my project (providing a crankcase ventilation connection to a custom air box for my car) but the diecast metal surface is very uneven and appears to be off be of poor quality. Have saved this in my desk drawer while I continue searching for an alternative piece with a better finish.

This is a HUGE hose fitting much larger than a PCV fitting, one of the Ford Performance/Edelbrock valve covers and a crankcase breather. This means I had to fit it with 2 different sized hoses: 1 for the smaller crankcase ventilation hose and the larger hose for this Edelbrock PCV adapter. No gasket or seal was supplied either, which was disappointing. I had to use some black RTV silicone where it bolts to the bottom of the air filter housing.
