Description of Edelmann 80023 Power Steering Return

Original equipment equivalent assemblies. Manufactured using nitrile tube and oil-resistant synthetic rubber cover. Manufactured with a special chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) tube with a temperature capacity of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Mounting Brackets, heat shields and convoluted sheathing to protect the hose are included where applicable. 3/8 inch male inverted flare x 3/8 inch i.d. hose.

Disappointing Performance, Avoid This Product

As a hesitant buyer, I must warn fellow automotive enthusiasts to steer clear of this product. As a result of my tests, I determined that it falls short in terms of performance and reliability. The pros are few and far between but i will give it credit for being easy to install. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh any benefits, as this power steering return is prone to leaks and simply cannot withstand the demands of high-performance driving .Save your money and invest in a better quality product…

Flawed and Inefficient Power Steering Connector

My analysis of this product showed that it was poorly designed and difficult to install.While it did initially function, it eventually leaked and caused me more problems than it solved..

Unfortunately Chinese made is the only viable option

This part can only be made to work if you have access to a good quality tube bender to change tube elbows. Out of the box, the bends are only a distant approximation of the bends in the original factory part. It's a pretty crowded space in the car and the tube needs to be bent properly to work. Otherwise the part had a satisfactory external quality for the price.
