Price was cheap compared to Rand Mcnally. The metal tip that connects to the GPS broke after 3 months. It must be secured with tape. The ups and downs of the road caused the tip to break and separate from the cable's plastic body.

This is an easy choice if your adapter is broken. Much cheaper than Rand McNally. worked great. connected and everything works. the construction is solid (at least not inferior to the original). The cable feels solid and the adapter plug part feels solid and well put together.

I liked the length when I bought it. Worked until my husband dropped the GPS when it was plugged in. I don't know how it ended up, but the metal part of the connector was bent at the end where it connects to the GPS. So I'm not sure if it's my fault or a fork strength issue. I liked it more than Rand McNally, however, so I ordered another to try again.

I can't live without GPS, I don't like using my phone for it. I live in Cali and without GPS I will have problems. I have a Rand McNally GPS and the pins are broken. I have to drive 350 miles to SoCal tomorrow (ugh!) and got this and it works fine. Thank you for making life in California so much easier. It's very hard to shop in such a state these days and I use Amazon for everything except groceries!
