Purchased for 3 year old. She liked it but doesn't use it much. I think it's a little bit difficult for her since she can't read, so she can't do it by herself. I have to sit next to her and explain/read everything to her. It's also smaller than I thought. My 7 year old daughter liked it better even though it was just a review for her.

The whole product was durable and safe. However! Description is wrong! If you want a pen that feels like the black dots of a book glowing green, great. But if you expected him to respond verbally, then don't buy! I'm much better at teaching my kids the letter and number hotspots from American school subjects than a plastic pen that lights up when you touch 3-4 corners of a letter or number. So boring! So deceptive!

Overall quality is good. The book is a thick plastic paper with a stapled binding. The handle is also of good quality and will last up to my 3 year old. The biggest problem with a book is that either a child has to be able to read it or an adult has to read it aloud. I was really hoping for a good, independent study in silence, but it was NOT.
