This little tool was very useful for painting trim and around small objects (e.g. a smoke detector). It was quicker than trying to tape off the areas and going back to remove the tape. I suggest wiping the edge of the tool with a paper towel from time to time to keep the paint from seeping underneath. Definitely drawing much faster.

This would be a five star rating IF it didn't have a permanent sticker running the entire side of the tool. It took a lot of GooGone to get rid of him. The tool itself is great for painting and doesn't require tape, but the problem is with the sticker. They make stickers that would easily peel off if this company used them.

Pros: The product is well made and durable. Cons: The marketing packaging on it is superfluous. The amount of glue used is so high that I had to dip the piece in solvent to get it off. I'm sure if I didn't do that I would have a dirty blade edge. Conclusion: The product is great, but not worth the effort to be usable. If the manufacturer changes the way they put up marketing materials, then and only then should you buy.

This was a turning point for me. I was repainting my whole house and didn't really want to tape off all of the bottom trim which is very narrow at the top (1/4" or even 1/8"). I tried using an edger and it was too sloppy. I tried using a brush, but despite having a very firm hand, it was painfully slow.
