Review on ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Edward Tools Paint Trim Guard - 12โ€ Stainless Steel Trim Guide Blade: Perfect Size and Ideal Thickness for Precision Painting and Cutting Guide by Rick Alexander

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very useful for any type of paintwork

This was a turning point for me. I was repainting my whole house and didn't really want to tape off all of the bottom trim which is very narrow at the top (1/4" or even 1/8"). I tried using an edger and it was too sloppy. I tried using a brush, but despite having a very firm hand, it was painfully slow. However, using this blade in combination with a brush made the process about 10 times faster and left a much cleaner cut. I wish I had used everything with my left hand! A tip, especially for older homes that don't have many straight lines. After each use, wipe the protective cover on the pants/cloth. I work left to right, squeezing the blade until my brush is dry. But when I pick up a blade, I wipe it because there's a bit of paint left on the back that can ruin what you're trying to protect.

Pros
  • Lifetime warranty
Cons
  • boring packaging
