🔍 Eheim AEH2616260 Filter Pad Set: Perfect for Model 2226/28 Aquarium Filter Review

This filter material is so hard to come by. I'm glad I can get it online for relatively cheap. I hope they are still available when I need to buy the next set.

For me, the 2026 is the best filter, these are the pads. We change white for 1 month, we wash blue in a month, we change both. It has been in the box for 2 months. Oh, and good luck finding a lower price.

The Eheim Filter Pad Kit helps keep my 180 gallon turtle tank clean. The products are placed in the filter baskets true to the original. They are easy to rinse out and reuse once or twice if needed. I have owned this filter for almost 15 years and with proper cleaning and a few minor seals that had to be replaced due to the filter being disassembled and moved. I recommend this product as a direct replacement for Eheim 2226/28.

I keep a 75 gallon aquarium full of LARGE fancy goldfish which means I treat the aquarium more like a small indoor pond than a large indoor aquarium. Goldfish are notoriously dirty creatures, so it's important to regularly disassemble and clean the filter of dirt or swap out different filter materials. Filter pads can be washed and reused several times, but when they are filled with organic material, simply replace the pad with a new one. A much needed part of my regular tank maintenance.
