Descent quality for the price.

Generally good. Three tips: Only use glue in a few places where you really need it. Second, the existing stitches must be pulled up along the material. Otherwise it crashes. Third, take your time, you will enjoy using the steering wheel, you will not regret it.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Very comfortable, good fit for steering wheels and accessories

I spent about 2.5 hours installing it, the hardest part is the top, especially around the buttons. Very happy with the quality and the end result. Note: I didn't use double sided tape but I would recommend using it around the buttons and maybe a bit down the middle of each section.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • I don't remember

Tedious setup but worth the time!

Bought for my 15 Mazda 6. The standard leatherette rim foil came off horribly. It took a while to install, but it was worth it. It takes patience and the instructions are vague. I recommend watching a YouTube video and following it step by step. Also, this is a 3 hour project so make sure your patience is in control. In the end it looks great and seems to be finished.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Looks great and feels good!

I was looking for a way to update the interior of my 2016 Mazda 3 so I decided to give this a try. All warnings about patience and difficulties were true. I watched a very helpful video on YouTube several times before beginning the installation. In two days I spent about 4 hours on the project. It was definitely worth it. Much more grippy and looks good. I recommend using black thread rather than red so it doesn't show through if you mess up the stitching.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Looks great and feels good! But.

Looks good and works well! But it is difficult for an ordinary person to install. If you have the patience and time this might be for you. It took me about 5 hours to install. Although the end result was worth it. It looks like a factory setting. Overall I would recommend it if you want to improve the grip and look of the original steering wheel. Tip: I would split the seam sections into 5 sections. 7, 5, 10, 2 and 12 hours. This made the installation much easier.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Installation can be tricky but worth it

The fit and finish was a defiantly good complement to the basic Jane steering wheel cover I had on my CX-5, but installation was time consuming and a bit difficult. The valve that closes the spokes at 9 and 3 can be tricky in terms of fitting properly (which was not the case on one side). Overall, while worth the effort, the leather feels a lot nicer than the rubber compound (which wears down and makes your hands sweat).

Pros
  • good stuff

Installation requires patience, but it's worth it.

I added double sided tape to attach the leather to the wheel. Then I sewed the leather together, which was easy and fun. It reminded me that I was in a home economics class. It took countless YouTube videos to put leather in the steering wheel, and as other reviewers have pointed out, it takes PATIENCE. I still couldn't tuck the butt in, so I'll keep trying, but I don't mind the skin sticking out. Overall I like the wheel coating and it protects the original wheel that was flaking/peeling.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Some cons

I would recommend this as a last resort.

Wow. The reviewers are not exaggerating when they say it will take time. Took me about 4 hours to complete it. You don't have to be a seamstress for this, you just need the attention to watch a YouTube video and turn it off. By far the worst part, which also takes the most time, is fitting the parts. It's absolutely tedious and some of the edges just don't fold properly no matter where they're placed. One of my sides looks perfect and the other side isn't perfect. It's annoying. I'll tell you…

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say
