EK Tools Centering Craft 16 Inch Review

Made of flexible material (goes well around curved objects), this ruler has inch and centimeter markings. This is very useful for centering lettering on envelopes, finding the exact center to place an embroidery design, etc. A nice addition to any workshop.

I use it every day for centering and measuring. My first lasted about 2 years (under heavy use 5 days a week in an industrial setting) before it started to warp. It's flexible but still sturdy enough when you want to mark a straight line on something. Clear enough to see everything underneath.

Had I known it was paper thin I would never have ordered it. I needed a centering ruler to draw lines with. A tool that had only one purpose was a waste of money, this paper thin ruler really is a waste. Sorry EKTools, you really got that wrong.

I bought this line to replace an expensive line that I lost. I'm notorious for making mistakes but didn't want to pay full price to replace the first line. I thought it would work because he had great additional information. It has great extra markings, but it's really flimsy. It is not ideal for use with scrapbooking. If the idea is to be able to draw a straight line, the lack of density makes it unwilling to stay in place and long enough to be clumsy.
