Easy to install locket! We needed something to bypass our new powder room light and it was perfect. Detail work done neatly and very easy to assemble. It was well packaged and at a reasonable price.

Made of drywall or heavy duty styrofoam. I expected plastic. I had to tweak the cut to make it work well for me, much easier to cut than plastic. Stable and as shown.

You can easily trim it with scissors to get the perfect fit. It looks like plaster of Paris and nicely covers the area around my ceiling fan. It hides and isolates areas I'm too cheap to pay anyone for.

The medallion looks very nice and stylish next to my light source. I bought it thinking it would be a lot bigger, but it looks great on my little basement lantern. I'm glad I made the mistake that worked elsewhere.

Complete junk. i give it back It feels like an art project for kids. This is a piece of foam, uneven in the middle. My base is only 4.5 inches and even if it does, it doesn't fit, but it's cut so unevenly that it can't be assembled. It comes without glue. If it was the size described by the seller it would be a $5 product at best.

The inside edge is thin to fit under the small gap between the ceiling and the bracket cover. The halves fit perfectly and I didn't have to fill. A previous comment indicated that the cost was inflated. I initially agreed as the markup was supposed to be over 500% BUT it filled a gap in the ceiling repair that would have taken me an extra 3 hours to fix with tape, dirt, primer and paint.

Painted locket to match mount, taking care to close the cross section of the cut bisecting the locket. Installation was very easy (no glue required as the bracket holds it in place) and the seam is almost invisible. This product solved the gap problem in drywall by installing a smaller bracket and definitely improved the look of the new bracket. Very happy with the result.

Perfect for ceiling fan after installation. When I received this I thought I bought it myself because it was very light and felt like foam, but after fitting it over the ceiling fan canopy I now understand why I bought it. It was perfect for my use on my back porch when I installed a new ceiling fan and realized I needed something more substantial above it to keep it from swaying due to the plastic porch ceiling.
