I paired this with my office TV. Amid all the clutter, I kept losing the remote control on my desktop. I put it on the frame of the bookshelf. The remote has a little play in the slot, but this is fixed with a silicone plug.

Great little product. The remote control cover makes it easy to use. Doesn't slip so much in the hand. The bracket is handy for placing the remote where it can be easily accessed and won't get lost with other large remotes.

Love this item! I really love AppleTV! The only thing that bothers me is the wafer-thin remote control. First I bought a remote housing/cover and then found a mount. You want the remote body/remote to fit right into the mount. The remote control no longer disappears. Good product. Case and holder should be sold as a set if not already present. Good product!

The gel will likely work on smooth surfaces such as glass, stone tile, etc. However, it will not work well on uneven surfaces such as drywall. It's only a matter of time before it falls off if you just stick it to the drywall with the gel part. Now I get the ones using command bars. In the end it was just a waste of my time. Good thing they put it on something soft, otherwise it could have been remote controls.

I thought this item was made specifically for the Apple TV remote and would fit just right. Instead, it seems made for any universal remote control. It's really no different than attaching a mug to the back of our TV and dropping the remote there. It might be different if our remote had a case, but my partner doesn't like cases and ours doesn't. We also have both types of Apple TV remotes so I've tried each and that doesn't mean I bought the wrong type, the problem exists with both. I wouldn't…
