Do not do that. You will regret it.

5 volt fans only need faster fans like 12 volts. Airflow is limited. also a buzzing sound. Upon arrival, one of the small fans was not working at all. found that none of the fans are protected. The fan rail is also loose. I used a small amount of 5 min epoxy and assembled all of the above. the system is now closed. Airflow is still disappointing.

  • Hard to say

LOUD and cheap. for accessories

Very cheap version and very noisy. I don't think it actually has a temperature sensor. It only turns on and off every second if it's set to automatic. At height it's louder than my TV most of the time, and at volume it's louder than the PS4 itself. I'd also scour YouTube for these fans, from the tests I've seen they don't really cool down much. Packaging and instructions are written in barely legible Chinglish. To steal BigClive's word. I don't think I'll keep it and I don't recommend it.

  • Can't remember

Not effective. Fans don't move the air well.

It has a sleep mode so it shouldn't get any stars for it. You don't hear how it works. That's actually not very good. This thing doesn't let enough air through and my block is still hot after I plugged it in. Any airflow is better than none, but the system itself has its own fan and I feel like maybe I shouldn't have bought this because that fan actually works. air at start. These fans will force you with a flashlight to try and see if the fans are moving. That's how ineffective they are.

Doesn't seem to fit

I bought this because it's specifically for PS4 Pro. It looked great out of the box, but when I tried to install it the only way I could get it to stay behind was by moving it about half an inch to the left when viewed from the front, which it doesn't. Don't attach it to the PS4, it just lets it sit flush against your back. There are two long posts on the fan assembly that touch the PS4 case and prevent it from being slotted in and staying level. It seems to work well and definitely cools the…

  • Good but not great

Loud but effective

Easy to install as it just snaps onto the back of the PS4 Pro. When first installed, a fan made a loud vibrating noise, and after some refinement, the noise level was reduced. The product is cheaply made and is very noticeable, giving way a little when you click it. If they made a model with better quality materials and engineering, I would happily pay more for it. It's worth the cost, and while unreliable, it helps keep temperatures down. Update: After 2 months I have decided to remove this…

  • Low repairability

THE BEST PS4 PRO COOLER YOU CAN BUY!

was the BEST PS4 PRO COOLER YOU CAN BUY! I love this for 2 good reasons.1. You can turn the switch on or set it to Auto and the fans will turn on automatically when you turn on the PlayStation2. I also like the temperature control on this unit, which turns on when needed and turns off when the PS4 is cold. I also bought a vertical stand and a charge cooler. Love this feature, you can leave the switch on and when you turn on the PlayStation the fans will turn on automatically unlike others that…

Rattle City - Accessories

In my testing, I found that the temperature actually dropped about 3-5°F (with proper orientation, more on that later). can be used in small spaces without adding too much to an already large PS4 Pro, but my main issue is the rattling noise it makes when the console is centered. These vibrations are awful for a standard hard drive and probably won't do any good to the other circuitry or thermal paste/compound on board in the long run (we're trying to dissipate heat here, so who doesn't think…
