Incredibly dangerous. The sale should be banned.

The teeth on it are smooth metal, with no constrictions or nicks. It dangles so much in the receiver that it sags and falls out with the slightest hit. And that in a practically new anti-vandalism case. I believe it would fall out of many of the old ones. This adapter is flammable and extremely dangerous, especially when children are around. Do not place this product in your home.

Pros
  • Material: PBT and metal
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Revised review - stopped working after 7 months.

Works as it should! Very useful in my long dark closet. I will buy more. UPDATE I've been using it about once a day since I bought it in November 2017. Today the switch stopped working - just rocked back and forth without any contact. Since it was less than $10 I guess I should have expected it, but I had a similar one that worked for over 8 years before it failed and didn't cost much more than this one. I think I'll try a different brand this time.

Pros
  • Voltage: 100-240VAC, 50-60Hz; max. Watt: 100 W
Cons
  • No power

Don't buy this. - Light sockets

The thing is almost useless. Yes, it powers a lightbulb perfectly, and that's about all it does well. However, this thing is so slippery in the socket that it tips over almost immediately with the bulb inside (yes, I've tried several bulbs, even very bright LED bulbs), exposing the metal pins no matter what position they're in . I worry that if someone tries to flip the switch, one day their finger might slip past it and get stuck right in the exposed contacts. The flex neck is also not strong…

Pros
  • Safety: RoHS CE certified. Flame Retardant PBT, 100% Electrically Flameproof, Heat Resistant.
Cons
  • Bad instructions
