Worked great! - Electric

I installed these in my caravan to access sockets and charge my devices. I used the front panel as a template so I knew where to drill the two round holes, then the adapters slipped straight in and I installed a lock nut on the back to lock them in place. I installed the crimp terminals on the wires, wired them up and I was done. I added a switch to the incoming power cable to keep the LED off all the time and also to avoid phantom power leaking to my battery.

Good product, the best among spare parts

The product comes with everything needed for installation. The product looks great, the stitching must be of very high quality. The reason for the 4-star rating is that the USB ports can only charge one device at a time. If you try to charge two at the same time, it can't generate enough power. This is frustrating as that was the intention in my RV. I haven't had a chance to try both USB and 12V charging, but I'll do so and update my results.

It's nice to have a little more power.

Fits in the old ashtray compartment. The functionality of opening and closing is retained. Fits perfectly with minimal change to any trim details. Nothing for the device or the ashtray itself, just a piece that got in the way when connecting larger items. I couldn't use covers, but I didn't need them. Glued with black E600 (which should probably be enough) and two small blocks for attachment. Connected to constant current with built-in fuse and additional illuminated rocker switch for on/off…

Nuts removed but still a good product!

I ordered two double sockets for a Bunkhouse trailer. They arrived very quickly and are very easy to assemble. I'm happy with them but can only give them four stars because two of them ripped off the plastic nuts holding the outlet to the bottom plate. I was able to press them down to tighten them and then apply a dab of super glue right where the nut meets the threads, effectively gluing the nut to the bushing itself. That seems to take care of it, I even put super glue on the two that won't…
