I work all day on the road so hot food is heaven in winter. Warm up lunch in the car. Great for cold days. Be careful not to reheat food on the auxiliary power source. This will kill your battery. Always start the car. A sandwich wrapped in tinfoil reheated, made great in 40 minutes. nice and hot. Easy to clean. Time will tell how durable it is. Still ok.

Bought this to warm up lunch on a trip. My daughter is a vegetarian and has trouble finding food she wants to eat on the spur of the moment. I liked its lightness. Too bad it came with a proper heating tank. I used aluminum foil to line the bottom and place her food on top. The directions say 25 minutes but it actually took about an hour to fully cook. All in all everything worked and was great value for money.

This is one of those great products that just works! It's simple, easy to use and clean, and works consistently day after day. I put my lunch from the fridge in this handy lunch box about 2 hours before lunch, turn it on and by lunchtime my lunch is hot. Better than standing in the "microwave line" in the office break room! Haven't used the 12v auto function yet but probably someday. Very useful gadget for your money!

Bought for my husband. He used it on the wall in his office and used it in his truck when he was out in the field. Works perfectly. He also said that the leftover asada carne became very tender after reheating it in this box. I was worried he wouldn't like it because it looks a bit silly but he took it every day. The only thing you might want to bring is a pack of disposable cutlery because the fork is too big for the holder and the spoon for the baby. never mind

I bought one a few years ago but it no longer works. Hopefully this will continue to work. I'm so sick of waiting for take out sandwiches and most chains just drive through and some are undercooked and some are overcooked and expensive. The best part is that it runs on 120 or 12 volts. Just like an egg and cheese in a foil, just put the cheese from the fridge on the foil, boil the eggs a little and put the cheese on top.

It was very useful for work. The night before I would pack everything in a lunch box. Turn it on 30 minutes before lunch and your lunch will be ready by lunchtime, delicious and hot. It's also fairly easy to clean with warm, soapy water. It also doesn't stick to the floor. Love it. Definitely recommend if you're trying to reduce contact with common areas. If you are a truck/van driver and always on the go. Order one of them and at the same time. Tell the lady to go into the kitchen and start preparing food in bulk to put into freezer/microwaveable plastic containers. The instructions state that the food should be placed directly into a removable metal container. BUT DON'T THINK TO DO THIS. Just insert the plastic container. And keep cleaning.
