It's quite compact yet easy to make 2 panini sandwiches. Easy to clean. Makes great panini. There is no temperature control, but I don't need it for most sandwiches. Excellent value for money and quality!

I've had this panini press for a few months now and it's great. My friend uses it every day. We also warm up cakes in it because we have an electric stove. Ideal for grilled cheese and quesadillas.

Given to a friend - he is delighted, as are all his roommates. One of them had the brilliant idea of using parchment paper instead of oil and as a result they never had to clean the heating surface as it doesn't come into contact with food. If she dies prematurely I will update this. Rating, but so far 5 stars!

I like the idea of it but it was a hassle to clean because the tray is not detachable and after a few uses the back arm broke so now didn't fit bad and broke right away in half on the turn. My wife and I were totally surprised how it broke in the first place because we never pressured it, it's just cheaply made. It was fun while it lasted. Time to look for something else.

Lasted about 35 days on this grill. Cooked on it 4 times. ). The non-stick coating starts to bubble. (See image) I don't see temperature controls here like I thought. I've had this item for barely a month! DO NOT BUY! It's not safe to eat from when the coating is bubbling!

The press worked very well until it broke. Bought April 16th, took it today to make another panini. And you can see from the photos that it just broke. I just opened it and it broke in my hand. The return or exchange window is of course closed on May 21st. Next time I'll call Revane and see what the seller will do. I really want to replace it because I like the product.

*UPDATE* exactly one year after my last review. Everything is fine except for the fact that the handle is somehow broken where the screw that holds the handle on the panini press is. So it doesn't click anymore - it fixes my flipping issue with each click! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️I can't contact the seller as there is no name or phone number anywhere to reach him. January 2019 Flip.

This is not an expensive panini press, be aware. I have an expensive one, works great. I bought this for some of my grandkids to actually do something. There are no settings, it seems to be getting very hot, but hey! They like it, so I'm fine. I wanted to send it back but my daughter said no they like it. I have a feeling that uncontrolled heat will dry out the product, be it bread, rice frittata etc even though they are still there. I hope it didn't get stuck in one of their many closets!
