Protective case falls off

So, not only The protective case falls off, when you use them (doesn't snap on the comb) the teeth on the guard don't line up well with the comb so it doesn't work very well at all as the hair can't go through it. Oh, and when you try to put the guard back on after it's dropped, it's really hot because it was (of course) on a hot comb. Don't waste your time or money.

Not So Hot - Styling Tools & Equipment

Easy to turn off during use. The main objection I have is that it doesn't heat my hair enough. I have fine hair that straightens easily, so I know that coarser hair needs more heat than mine.

Light weight is best for hair comb

I love the metal comb's plastic guard. This is the first time I've used an electric hot comb and it straightened my 4c hair pretty well. It might not be warm enough to give it such a super smooth, silky look, but it comes close.
