I really like the kettle. It works great, has a large capacity and is made almost entirely of stainless steel. Two little things that could have been better. Pros: Fast heating, easy to clean, nice wide neck that doesn't get in the way of the faucet. Cons: The hinge has an open hole on the inside of the carafe and I hope it never absorbs water; the cable is a bit stiff and doesn't like to wrap around the base; If you're left-handed, the fill line is where you can't see it. You had to center it.

I have no complaints after a month of use. The isolated case is a great thing. Not only does this make the kettle a little more efficient, but it also muffles cooking noises and prevents burns if you accidentally touch the outside. Even the soft-opening lid is lined with stainless steel and shaped to channel condensation back into the kettle. Boiling is perfectly adjusted. I hope this lasts forever.

The teapot is easy to handle but slightly tilted. The base can be heavier. It heats up quickly. Love that I can hear the water boiling and hear the appliance turn off from the next room. What I miss is that it's not thermal and doesn't hold the water temperature for a second cup of tea like my old one. Double walls keep the outside cool. I wouldn't buy it again. Spend money on hot water instead of turning it back on or heating the water in the microwave.
