Not sure why one when the rating is 'easy to clean'. But anyway, I bought them for my house to kill random mosquitoes that come through the door. You still have to kill one. Mosquitoes just fly by. I love this item! After about 10 days of use, our mosquito problem is as good as solved. As you can see from the photo, one of the 4 devices killed at least 3 dozen mosquitoes. (Note that some dead mosquitoes fall on the ground and don't get into the unit and therefore kill even more than what is shown in the photo.)
