Great Lead-Free Solder for Automotive Welding!

The Electrical Solder I recently purchased has been a great addition to my automotive welding kit. Based on my experience, it is lead-free and produces a strong bond that holds up well under high temperatures and stress. It also melts easily and flows evenly, making it easy to work with. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey compared to other solder options. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and safe option for automotive welding.

Pros
  • Lead-free, making it safer for the environment and for those handling it.
Cons
  • May have a higher melting point than traditional lead-based solder, making it more difficult to work with.

10/10 I would use again for soldering.

Good solder, I've finally run out of solder and couldn't find a replacement of the same type at Revain until I stumbled across it. Works just as well as my old solder, nice and flexible and also thick enough not to unwind.

Pros
  • Soldering and Soldering Equipment
Cons
  • Socket required

Finally a decent electrical board and some solder.

I solder a lot of small wires and things like resistors and transistors onto circuit boards. My old solder roll was almost empty so I ordered 3 different types of so called resin core solder, all made in China. They all required higher heat and stuck together etc. They were workable but very poor quality and ugly solders compared to the US brand I had. However, this solder works well and looks great when made. My only complaint is that it still requires higher heat than the old US brand.

Pros
  • Solder and Flux
Cons
  • Repair
