Arduino made best computer components

I managed to assemble Arduino from a solid board of 4 parts. It needs to be cased up so it doesn't come loose when filming, but that's not a pressing issue as it seems strong enough for a prototype and some handling.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great layout, suitable for single board computers

This is one of the most useful boards for building projects. I use it to connect a 10-wire ribbon cable to an ethernet port. The signal controller for my model train uses a ribbon cable output. I use Category 6 cable to connect to signal towers. The layout of the board makes it easy to fit two adapters in a small square.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent product as pictured

Well done and just what I expected. However, I would like to have a different column for each quarter so that a quarter of the board can match the heading on the Raspberry Pi.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Something is wrong

LOVE these boards

I'm new to prototyping so having guides and internal pins is SO useful for me. The size (1/4 sheet) is almost perfect for my current projects. I wish they had 20 rows instead of 19 so I could put a full 40 pin connector on them, but losing 2 pins was NOT a problem. Thanks for the great snack!

Pros
  • Lead free and RoHS compliant, longer shelf life
Cons
  • Some little things

Ideal for an Arduino project. Much easier than perfboard

Bought for an Arduino project using WEMOS D1 mini. I've used a decent pinboard with a Wemos footprint in the past and it was a lot easier to route and wire. With at least 2-3 pads per node, inserting wires, resistors, and chips is much easier than on a single-pad perforated board. I also had to add some small terminal blocks, which on a perforated board meant drilling holes and wiring the posts. Such a pain! Good quality clean boards also helped the solder pin. I only used a quarter of a board…

Pros
  • Gold plating to prevent oxidation and plated through all holes for mounting strength
Cons
  • Expensive
