Electrolux 241941003 Starter Relay Review

I was sold an unreliable one. I ordered it a few months ago but wasn't able to fit it until recently and noticed that it rattles like my old one and keeps cutting out my compressor. A 30 day warranty is not enough for the cost of this part to damage it.

I bought this starter and capacitor for my fridge. It worked fine for 6 months and then broke down. A technician came out to see what was going on and they told me the part was bad. Definitely not worth the money. If you pay attention to this, you will receive an extended warranty.

After the compressor on my Frigidaire Gallery LGHS2665KF0 stopped working I ordered this starter relay hoping it wasn't the compressor itself. In fact, the new relay worked like clockwork and my fridge started to cool down again. Not bad for a five minute effort!

Not really the same as what I replaced. The bayonet wire connectors on my original were the standard size, this item had small (about half the width) connectors. I changed the plugs on the cables to fit. It works as usual. It would be nice if the smaller plugs came with the starter relay.

Basically we came home from a long weekend and found the fridge/freezer was leaking warm water all over the floor. I wasn't willing to pay $1,100 or more for another fridge, so (Reader's Digest version) I opened it up and added a working Frigidaire 297286803 fridge capacitor to replace the starter relay. And it's all right!

The part fully matched the description and matched the fancy OEM starter perfectly. The swap was easy on my 10 year old side by side Frigidaire (the hardest part was getting to the wiring part). partial thawing (soft ice cream, etc.).

My freezer wasn't staying cold then the fridge was starting to not stay cold as it gets cold air from the freezer.
