There aren't many power tools on the market for canister or handheld vacuums so I was more than happy to find this power tool. That means it has a small electric motor powered by the vacuum for landings etc. The motor is a little underpowered, but the suction power powered by the vacuum is more than enough. While this powerful upholstery tool was very effective at removing cat hair from upholstered furniture including my microsuede sofa, ottoman and two mattresses, Head stopped working about a month after the two year warranty expired.
