Fell apart after two months of use.

It worked fine for a while but then when I tried to take it out of the oven/AC it practically fell apart. I had all sorts of trouble getting it. I ended up having to disassemble part of the air duct to get it. At this point the filter was almost destroyed. I'm trying to patch it up so I can use it for at least a few days while the new one dries after washing.

Perfect fit and doesn't block airflow!

We have been tinkering with disposable filters for a number of years. Each will fill up quickly as we live in a dusty area. Many of them are even poorly breathable, which drastically reduces airflow in the home. But this filter? I put it in, it fitted perfectly and we didn't lose an iota of airflow. It's still being sucked in, so it's not just an empty box. I couldn't be happier with this filter!

BE CAREFUL. This can save you a lot of money or damage your oven. ATTENTION

I have a new US standard 90+ efficiency oven that uses 4 inch filters. When I saw this reusable filter after using paper filters, I thought I could clean it as often as needed and save money. I used a filter with a MERV rating of 12. That's about how high I wanted to raise my stove because the higher the MERV rating, the more stress the stove has as it filters the air much more than the lower MERV ratings.
