I bought two of these scarves - one black and one navy blue. The black scarf is terrible. This is a very stiff, heavy fabric, similar to satin. It's not graceful, it's hot and it doesn't drape at all. i will return it To be honest I also ordered one in navy and it's in a different fabric and better than this black one. So I don't know if scarves of other colors are suitable, but I can say with certainty that black is totally unacceptable and dark blue is fine.
