This is advertised as a USB 3 speed hub. My computer sees it as a USB 2 speed hub which is 10x slower. As you can see, my computer registers 480 Mb/s instead of 5 Gb/s. I had to buy a separate cable for my external HD.

So far it works fine on my 2017 MacBook Pro. The color is also almost identical. You could probably add another USB on a side for 5. But other than that, it's a very solid product. I'm not an expert, so I can't comment on the data transfer speed. But all USB ports work. The charger works through the Thunderbolt port and HDMI works great.

Over the last year I've bought several powered and non-powered hubs as Apple users have had to move into the world of USB-C/TB3. It was one of the cheapest and most reliable I've ever used. Better than some of the more expensive powered hubs I've bought.

My last key didn't work so I needed it badly. I hopped on Revain wanting something fast and affordable. If you've been looking for a Mac key, you can see that the prices can be outrageous. I chose this product because I can receive it within 2 hours and because of the price. I've used it every day and it works great! I need an HDMI port to connect my TV for a second monitor. Multiple USB ports and charging port. What's missing is a VGA port, but I don't need it. Happy with my purchase.

A much cheaper option than a laptop docking station. Ideal for connecting laptop, headphones, mouse, keyboard, etc. to a wide screen. Exactly as advertised. Very small/compact form factor. The price is good too

Chose this unit for my needs because of the HDMI, 4*USB and PD charging ports and to keep it small for portability. I didn't need a card reader, multi-HDMI or network connections. All ports work well, including fast charging for USB-C devices up to 60W. Fast charging worked on my Dell XPS 2 in 1, required 45W. The device is relatively small and portable.

Just received this adapter for my 2015 MacBook and it works as advertised, great quality and as long as it continues to work it gets 5 stars from me.

Woman using it with her Macbook. This is convenient because it connects to the MacBook via a cable rather than a hard plug. My wife has used a similar product with fixed connectors before, but this design had all sorts of connection issues. This design is way better. And it has plenty of USB, which is what we ultimately need. For example, we don't need a card reader. It's also well made and has a nice aluminum design.

Nice useful inexpensive little hub. Works well with my 13" MacBook Pro Mid 2020. HDMI delivers good picture quality on my UHDTV - better than my old MacBook Pro. Or. The cable length of about 12 inches is suitable for many desktop or travel setups, but I want to move the hub farther from my computer, so I need a longer cable.

Very affordable for 4 USB-A ports, HDMI and 100W through power. With a 3 week young inspiration I bring back for XPS. The Inspiron does not detect continuity of power, so the included Dell power adapter must be used. I can't wait to load up the new XPS. The device NEVER gets warm like some of the other ports I've tried, but it also doesn't currently charge or plug into a charger. will update rating if this changes with a new laptop. great if $23 ethernet isn't required, great device.
